Berries…a kid’s favorite Paleo treat!

On Saturday the kids and I went up to Monroe to visit our favorite berry pickin’ spot, Broer’s Farm. It is a certified organic berry farm. Right now the strawberries are in season and going for $1.50 per pound! Throughout the summer they will have blueberries and blackberries as well. The setting is picturesque and the trampoline is loads of fun. We met Original CF All In Bad Boy and Engine 37 Tailboard Home Skillet, Jay -100 burpees in 5 minutes-“Bro”ughton there with his kiddos to share the fun. And as you can see from the trampolining madness this was a dads only trip.

So as the sun starts to come out more and more, skip McDonalds, pack some protein and fat in a cooler and go pick some moderately glycemic, but deliciously sweet carbs to go along with it to form the perfect kid-friendly Paleo picnic afternoon a family could wish for. Oh yeah, moms, just close your eyes while dad launches your kids like popcorn through the air on the trampoline. I’m fairly sure they’ll live.
