  1. Bro Montana wears them! Nuff’ said ~

  2. I’m going to get some for Charity – I know that she loves these :o)

  3. 24’39” 1 pood

grip is wasted. The Turkish get-ups weren’t as ugly as I expected, though I think that’s only because I had lowered my expectations so much. I was expecting them to be completely awkward and messy.
Brad and John were awesome just fighting through the get-ups at the end.

  4. 36+ w/1 pood

Brutal but obviously beneficial workout. It was really challenging to complete the reps on my weak (left) side. Turkish get-ups/kettlebell overhead squats really make you appreciate barbells.

  5. 44#kb right and left get ups 53#kb squats and swings 28:45 Did the Fran make up at Sta 22 today 11:37, pretty tired.

  6. Had someone wear them into the gym the other day. I disallowed them at first sight on account of dangerous instability. I’m thinking running shoes should be banned too for similar reasons.

  7. The Shape-ups by themselves probably would not be very effective. But if you combined them with the Thigh Master and the Shake Weight, then you might have an effective exercise program. Add in the Hollywood Cookie Diet and your on your way to elite fitness.

  8. 25:50
Scaled Get Ups & squats with 12# dumb bell
    Swings 26# kettle bell

Very challenging workout. I had a hard time keeping my balance in my sparkly new Sketcher Shape Ups. 🙂

  9. Great work everyone on the TGU. You showed good flexibility, accuracy, coordination and balance (many of the forgotten elements of fitness). More importantly with that one you showed good patience with yourself.

Loving the Shape Up comments. Keep em coming.

  10. Again WOD at the Firehouse. I was fortunate today as I had a gal on my crew who is certified level 1 instructor. She really helped me with the TGU (more technical than they look). 1/2 pood for the TGU’s and overhead squats, then 1 pood for the swings. The squats felt unbalanced and the TGU’s were difficult. 20:52. A pood is 32lbs correct?
