Navy Chief Special Warfare Operator (SEAL) Adam Lee Brown, 36, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, was killed on March 17th, 2010 in Komar Province, Afghanistan, in a battle against heavily armed militants. He is survived by his wife, Kelley, two children, Nathan and Savannah, and by his parents.

    First round was tough, second round is killer. Last set of box jumps and DB squat cleans killed me. Debating whether I took too long of breaks or if I was really just that tired!

    Just repeat to yourself over and over: Makes the hurt feel good, makes the hurt feel good…

    • Great job all early risers. I saw great effort all around, Casey sluggin’ it through, Brad never slowing down on the box jumps, Marie speeding through, and even (forgot her name) choosing the big box at the end when most of us are hoping the box has gotten smaller by jumping on it.

    Second round was horrible. So hard to keep moving. DB squat cleans are an awesomely hard exercise. Soo hard to complete the second round of those. Thanks for all the encouragement 9:15 class. I needed it. I was dead at the end of that second round.

    That wasn’t sweat, that was my body crying.

  5. It was an honor to do this work out, even when finishing last. Great to have all of the encouragement from the crew. Haven’t found a regular gym yet where everyone cheers for me.
