  1. complete random, somewhat CFS related, late night/morning comment that noone will care about 🙂

    Spending nearly an all nighter catching up on a work project that’s (way) behind and just thinking how awesomely awake I am (relative to normal 4am). I’d swear it’s because of my weaning off sugar/refined stuff and more and more emphasis on real food. I’ve spent more than a few late/all nighters for work before, but remember a constant fight of crash/push/yada. Tonight seemed much easier. Had a boiled egg every hour and at least had a nice constant state of mind/body vs. the fight against crash.

    Thanks for the knowledge continually being gleemed off of you guys. Back to real work, stop avoiding it…. I’m able to light at the end of the tunnel…. for ages.

    • Shawn – I am beginning to understand what you are talking about here. I have been off Grain for 15 days now (and very little legumes & dairy) – and can tell you that I FEEL better. It has not translated to weight lss yet, but i feel it coming. I am more even throughout the day…and my workouts are better (except for Tuesday…ugh!).

      Could not make it in this morning…but am going to fo the WOD tonight @ home…see you tomorrow.

    Great post. Glad you are feeling some of those “quality of life” benefits of eating real foods. That is what it is all about. You will continue to notice improvement in the gym from it too. That is tough that work is keeping you up that much. Hang in there. Get some sleep!

    Got to run with the gazelle’s in the dark this am. It was (kinda) fun watching their blinking lights speed around the loop and even lap me at times. Thanks for running me in boys!

  4. Casey, Matt, & Brandi absolutely crushed it this morning. Big shout out to those three, I was certainly lagging behind those 9:15 gazelles. A very tired 26:30ish Rx’d.

    I really don’t like running, but with Casey, Brandi and Joe, at the 9:15 it was actually pretty fun….afterwards of course. You guys are awesome!

    • My time was just the time I was running, without the rests in between. Tried to stay at an 8 min mile pace, while sprinting the last 400.

  9. Worked out from home today. My left knee has a little twinge in it so I rowed instead of running. 23:52
