    Knees to Elbows are the work of the devil! And missing a rep of Knees to Elbows are punishment for your sins. Ug!@! Took me ages…
    Must mean they’re good for me 🙂
    Jim and Andrea were impressive with how they were able just to get through them.

    • After looking at my logs we have never done 90 K2Es (since I started last summer), don’t be afraid to scale the reps!

  4. 30:13 no rx today! Props to everyone in 5:30 who can lift weights. I tried today and it was kind of a joke!

  5. That was a sneaky little WOD. 9:15 all had solid efforts and good times!!! Matt’s KTE were great, Brad’s WBS were awesome, and Brandi kept fantastic power snatch form all the way through. 95# power snatches, my form suffered at the end. 23:something.

    The 75 power snatches w/115# were brutal! The first 2 rounds smoked me. Could not bring myself to string more than 2 of them together for most of the WOD. If you pick a weight that you can do 3 or more in a row without letting go, you probably should string them together. If not, fast singles with no rest other than the time it takes for the bar to stop bouncing is close to as fast with less overall effort (and less rest time).

    9:15 class scaled appropriately to be able to crank out the power snatches for lots of unbroken reps. Way to go with the Rx Brandi. Like Joe said, your form on the power snatch looked awesome all the way to the very end.

    • Great time John! You must’ve been just cranking steadily like a big rig.
      How’d you do with the KTE’s? Were you able to string them together? w/ a kip or just up and down? They’ve been a thorn in my side and think I need a bit of practice w/ form/rhythm.

      • I kipped the KTEs. I had a little more trouble with the kip than usual, not sure if that was because the rest of the WOD gassed me out or if it was just because I am out of practice on the KTE (I think the latter). But I was able to get 5-10 at a time on some of the rounds today and that saved me a lot of time.

        You got to practice that kip outside a WOD to get it. Too much pressure in a WOD to work on it. I am still hopeless on the kip for the toes to bar. That is the one that I am trying to get.

  7. That WOD was brutal–I was wiped out after the first round!! My knee’s to elbows need some work!! Great job 9:15!!
