10 Handstand push-ups
250 pound Deadlift, 15 reps
25 Box jumps, 30 inch box
50 Pull-ups
100 Wallball shots, 20 pounds, 10′
200 Double-unders
Run 400 meters with a 45lb plate

    Way to work Saturday crew! You all did great and pushed hard on this tough WOD. Like a lot of us today, the double-unders were the killer on this WOD. The good news? Double-unders take a lot of skill to do and your skills in double-unders can be improved with practice. The bad news? It takes a lot of practice for some of us to get better.

    Big shout out to Ben for getting EIGHT 80
    HSPUs in a row during the WOD!

    35:?? I forgot to write down my time last July, so John gave me the idea of saying it was 80:??, sooo I got a huge pr! 🙂

    It was nice to have Brad stand next to me for a few du’s. Just being in his presence gave me the power to string 4 or 5 together.

  5. Looked like a great class this morning. Everyone had their game faces on!! Double unders are one of those CrossFit movements that just takes some consistent practice. I think that one of these saturdays after a WOD we should have a double under clinic for anyone who is struggling with double unders. The key is practice everyday until you don’t have to think about them. We will talk to Jeff and see if he has any great pointers.

  7. 26:46 Scaled HSPU 205# DL and 50 GHD sit ups. Amy says that I can’t do pull ups until my arm gets better. Something about pushing myself to hard but I don’t know what she’s talking about. Great class today. Andrea was the first person I’ve ever seen do 100 du’s with a smile on her face! Never thought I’d see myself doing this w/o but next time I’ll try to Rx it. Old dog….new tricks. Brad

  8. Did this Saturday @ ymca
    tough! subbed 45# DB Thrusters for wall balls (no wall ball). They kicked my butt!! After 30 reps I thought about getting on my phone, ordering up a wall ball from rogue, waiting for it to arrive and then finish the wod. Also kind of funny how those big giant padded pull up handles, supposed for comfort actually suck!

    This was a day of great determination to complete the WOD, not great discipline to keep rests short.
