  3. 227 Push jerk

    My right foot is still tweaked, and that is also my rear foot in the split jerk. Worked a little skill work practicing the drop with the split and then switched to the push jerk when I put weight on the bar. Made a lot of progress in dropping under the bar and worked up to 227. Only a 2 # PR, but with much better overhead position and a faster drop than I have ever been able to do with a heavy weight before.

    Love heavy/skill days!

    • That’s a heck of a weight John, great job! That’s near bodyweight overhead for you isn’t it? Always a great benchmark/achievement.

  5. I’m remain sick, lame, lazy, or crazy as far as having the bad shoulder still. Nothing overhead until its better. Front squats 225#, 25# below PR but Jeff & John said the form was sweet, so I’m happy.

  7. Worked out my gym at work, so I did push press (110#) and sprinted a mile (7:24).
