The Kitchen Gadgets Part Four: The Ice Cream Maker

This little guy is right near the top of the list of the best things the Vales have ever purchased. We use it twice a week to make the most delicious healthy ice cream you will ever taste. Everything from fresh raspberry to espresso chip. This is my dessert pretty much every night. It has about half the sugar of traditional store-bought ice cream and is made entirely of high quality, real foods. Compare the two ingredient lists below and you will see why you should own this machine. Our recipe is full of life-giving real ingredients from local well raised animals. High in crucial fat soluble vitamins and other nutrients. While Tillamook, a supposedly high-end ice cream is full of garbage. I’ll say it again. I eat our ice cream every night and no, I don’t consider it a cheat.

Vale Vanilla:

Raw cream from grass-fed cows, pastured-local egg yolks, arrowroot powder, real maple syrup, real vanilla extract

Tillamook Vanilla:

Nonfat Milk, Cream, Sugar, Custard Base (Corn Syrup, Egg Yolk, Vanillin, Annatto)Corn Syrup Solids, contains 2% or less of Natural and Artificial Flavor, Cellulose Gel, Cellulose Gum, Mono- and Diglycerides, Polysorbate 80, Carrageenan.

Complete as many rounds as possible in 15 minutes of:
Row 250 meters
25 Push-ups

    Great push up discipline this morning 5:30 power hour.

    DU Day2: 1DU-check (tried ‘studying ahead’, and very glad I put out a patient challenge)

  4. Since we don’t have a rower here at work I substituted 25 sumo deadlift high pulls for the 250 meter row.

    7 rounds + 15 SDHP

    Still nursing a pulled calf muscle, so I’m trying to stay away from DU for awhile.

  6. 250m row and 10 PU without assist. 25 PU would have stuck me at a round or two so I reduced the PU qty.

  7. Shyanne and I did this one at home…sub’d rowing for running, not sure how far 250m is here but it was real close, maybe more.
    Dawn – 3 rds +17pu
    Shyanne – 4 rds + run (15 pu per round)

    Regards to the ice cream maker. I agree its a great investment.
