Paleo Cake Pops

These rich little morsels were dessert at our fire station the other day. Cake pops are all the rage right now in case you hadn’t noticed. I preferred the ones rolled in crunched up almonds. These were made from a recipe from Chewin’ the Fat with the Paleo Brat. This Paleo blog is run by one of our CF frineds from up the street at CrossFit All In in Lake Stevens.

“Tabata Something Else”

Complete 32 intervals of 20 seconds of work followed by ten seconds of rest where the first 8 intervals are pull-ups, the second 8 are push-ups, the third 8 intervals are sit-ups, and finally, the last 8 intervals are squats. There is no rest between exercises.

Post total reps from all 32 intervals to comments.

    really surprised my push ups kind of sucked from the beginning. Really thought 80 would be an easy number to achieve. As often in Crossfit, Wrong!

    I’m with Shawn, thought I’d game a little and do 10 PU…and keep doing 9-10 throughout…NOT!!! I will be adding PU to my “need to work on” movements. Sit-ups were also surprizingly hard today…always a challenge around here. Fun day. Good to be @ 5:30.

  4. I did this one at work this morning, but I didn’t read that I was suppose to post “total” reps. So, I just kept track of the lowest rep that I completed for that exercise.

    Pull ups: 7
    Push ups: 9
    sit ups: 9
    Squats: 16
    Total of 41
