    Still love this WOD, love the progression from fast weights to 1 rep maxes. Did much better keeping rest short, at least in the first 3 rounds. I failed twice at 225, was forced to rest a good 45-60secs. (thanks Ryan for keeping me on the right direction and not overthinking things)

    Really happy for my fellow CFS minions this morning. From the outside it might’ve looked like a bunch of scaling, but knowing the people you got to see Ben finally doing a high volume of a very solid weight, Ellen doing her first rope climbs and barbell work since her broken arm, and Mark doing C&J’s for the very first time. Good Stuff.

  2. 11:18 My time was mainly slow due to rope w/ knots – I’m looking forward to learning the foot lock tech to speed things up. The C&J are fun once I get over the “clean” wrist pain. I’ll be waiting for the next time to work on some real weight for them. Did 85 – 105 but after warming up during the WOD the pain was less (dulled?) I’ll try more warm-up next time.

    Good to see Ellen climbing – I hope I don’t ever break an arm! She has set a great standand for perseverance!

    All C&J done with 145#
    shoulder felt good – will be easing back into heavier weights. Left feeling good and was impressed all around with morning crew. Amazing what one can get done @ 5:30 in the morning

    I taped wrists for first time today and that helped a ton with the wrist pain.

    Was difficult to make small jumps due to lack of weights and size of class. There was ALOT of traffic in the gym today. Fun workout, however, very technically challenging.
