One of my tougher Rx’s…but got ‘er done! 🙂 great work by all today…and thanks for the encouragement. Jeff, much neede coaxing. Thanks

    • That was a great effort Ben, I was watching your face on some of the last squats, I imagine we all look that focused but it looked good. It’s an inspiration to watch your push to Rx these.

My daughter asked the point of a “set” level of the workouts if we always push our own limits. I told her it’s a rung up the ladder – now you can gauge your effort to others in addition to your own.

I seem to constantly mumble to myself lately on these short-ish wod’s, stay uncomfortable stay uncomfortable stay uncomfortable…. Especially when you don’t need to save anything for later. Thanks Jeff for motivating me to “just to get on the bar!”

Squat Cleans are coming along with everyone, if anyone, I need to bring my form game up. Take a min or two slower and perfect the rack… position!

5 rounds felt like forever. The difference between 155#s and 135#s squat cleans (or 95# and 105 for the ladies) is huge! Nice to do to kettle bell swings with 1.5 pood for a change

135# clean squat for 1st 4 reps, shoulder pain out of no where stopped the “clean” part and they turned to just 135# front squats.

    (scaled – 80# SC, 44# KBS)

Need more shrug on my cleans, but they feel better every time. Wrists are almost not an issue anymore (almost) if I tape them. All the positive vibes from everyone (especially Dave) definitely helped me get through that last round. Thanks!

The first round felt pretty good, but hitting the squat cleans after the KBS was not cool at all. Thanks to Tom for being my cheerleader and counter….somehow I had in my mind that we had to do 17 KBS….he looked at me funny when I got to 16 and THEN told me we were only doing 14. 🙂
