The Chief

Max rounds in 3 minutes of:
135 pound Power cleans, 3 reps
6 Push-ups
9 Squats

Rest 1 minute. Repeat for a total of 5 cycles.

Post rounds completed for each of the 5 cycles.

  1. 4/4/4/3+3clns /4 at 105#, some discussion if 1st was 5 but unlikely. No breaks, not much room for speed improvement to get 5 rounds consistently so will be tough to improve the quantity-after I get to 135#. Great to have my daughter back for a month (or more). Squats felt great after Manion on Saturday(?)… Lots of sweat on the mats.

    I’ll take it. Probably had room somewhere to improve, but I’ll take it.
    During the few times I looked around I was impressed by the virtuousity and intensity being put in, good job everyone!
    Love me some short-ish rest intervals. Enough to reset the body, but not to be comfortable.

  8. I’m not totally sure on all exact counts. I didn’t write them down but I will get close.

    I feel like I mis counted the first round by 1 too many but I’m not totally sure. From the downward trend of my rounds 4 + 6 would only make sense. Was hard to track when you are just blasting through it.

    Good wod! I love the intensity wods as compared to long ones, like Sat’s Manion– where I literally convinced myself in the 3rd round there was no way to finish it.

  11. Did this one at home. 3 min on, 1 min off, total of 15 rounds + 1 push up. “Failed” at following directions as I continued where I left off after each round, rather than starting over. 😦
