Lacto-Fermentation Parties: the hottest rage

By now you’ve heard the all the hype surrounding lacto-fermentation parties.  Heck, you may have hosted a few yourself.  (….cue the crickets…)  As Tupperware parties were of the 80’s, lacto-fermentation parties are of the 2012’s– everyone’s going to one.  I was lucky enough find two families who ditched their other lacto parties that day, and came to mine.  Just strain your own whey, get a jar with a tight-fitting lid, and throw your own.

Here’s the recipes we made: Lacto-Fermented Ketchup, Lacto-Fermented Salsa Verde, Lacto-Fermented Lemonade

These are great recipes to add to your weekly staples. Lacto-fermentation is an excellent way to add probiotics to your foods! A certain Stein recently developed a soft spot on one of her teeth, I’m convinced feeding her these types of foods as well as raw milk, cod liver oil, grass-fed beef we will remineralize her spot.

Leave me comments on your lacto-fermetation parties! Or, if you want detailed info re: lacto-fermentation let me know.
Ferment well, Friends!
