Cam’s Muscle Up

Cam is back and shall I say with a vengeance! With the expert help of my wife who always teaches people to do all the cool stuff in the gym, Cam popped right up there like it was nothing. Amazing. Nice work Cam. Huge milestone. Keep up the hard work and we are so glad to have you back!

    Squat snatch is tough, but real struggle was 2strung together. Love the Snatch…but struggled with 2

  2. 95->105 multiple but only 1 at 115, (sigh), I text Taryn while gone, on my workouts – she reminded me that’s where the women started at regionals – always one to build me up. It’s clear I need consistent technique to get higher though.

    Cam – the muscle up looked great – Charity, give the kids to Jeff and come to a 5:30! If you can get me doing them you can get anybody to do ’em.

  3. Power snatch 2RM: 155 lbs (10 lbs PR over my previous PS single!!)

    After that I power snatched a single at 160 lbs (a 15lb PR!)

    After that I did yesterday’s pushup/sprint workout in 12:24.

  4. 6 85lb Shoulder Press on the odd minute
    6 Strict Pull Ups on the even minute

    For 20 minutes.

    145# 1st rep got it (bad form), 2nd rep F (didn’t get under it). Next time…

  7. Brad’s Crescant Bar WOD:
    50 pound farmer’s carry up the same hill he did it on last weekend but this time he did 5 pushups every time he put the water jugs down and he did the same on the way down the hill too.
    4 mile farmer’s walk
    600 pushups

    Betty’s WOD:
    Walk up and down the hill with Brad and made sure he didn’t get pasted by a car when he was doing his pushups.

    6 people stopped to see if we needed help and a retired Seattle firefighter invited us to his house this evening. Who knew you could meet so many new people doing Crossfit!

    • 600 pushups!?!? I don’t think I’ve done that many in a week, let alone one workout!

    • That might be the craziest wod I have ever heard of. I know that hill too which makes it more impressive. Brutal!

      • WOW!!!! That is so awesome! Im with Casey on this one. 100 pushups is a lot but 600?!?!?!?!?!?!? How long did this farmers walk take? 10 at a time over 2 hours?? I would like details Cheek’s, details I tell ya. 🙂

    • We were trying to figure out how long it took. Best guess is 2 to 2 1/2 hours, it was a looooong time!

  8. Still can’t put weight on my foot. Did 6×2 strict pull ups got 1 with a 2.5 pound weight…yeah. Did some ring rows in between.
