The 91 Day Home Stretch!

Just a few days left of the 91 day challenge and the improvements are evident! What is your game plan for the last week? Rest days so you can kill the WOD on Saturday? Tanning bed? No carbs? Let us know in comments.

Snatch 135 pounds, 30 reps

Use 95 pounds, 65 pounds or broomstick as needed.

  1. 4:52 rx’d (felt heavy) I was trying to keep up with Casey. He was blasting through them without dropping the bar, so I started to do the same and got gassed with the controlled decent and ended up doing them one by one.

    • Nice work today. You should feel very proud of doing so well on that workout having only been here about a year! It took me a couple years before I could rx that one. And when I finally did it was way slower than your time today.

  2. 20:43 rx’d!!

    I feel a little foolish with this time, and I know this WOD isn’t made to be a 20 min wod, however, I just had to conquer it. It’s a wod that makes me really really nervous, so I just had to go for it. Newbies: you guys did a great job scaling, keep doing it! I’ve done Isabel 4 times and the last time I did it at 85#, with increased strength and better technique I felt it was time to give it a shot.

    One thing that makes me feel really good is that my 1 rep max is 100#, so getting through 30 @ 95# makes me happy! Thanks for the huge amount of support from everyone getting me through. No one ever likes being the last one done, but CFS is always there for support!

    • Way to conquer your doubt midway thru that WOD and not let negative thoughts beat you!

      • Yep, a couple of reps had me doubting myself, however I literally couldn’t have done it without your help! I would say I owe you my Ben Smith t-shirt, but we know how important that is to me. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Fabulous job, Annie! Rxing Isabel is a huge accomplishment! Would love to rx it someday, maybe you can teach me!

  3. 4:15 rx’d (3:45 PR!)

    I went into this workout thinking I’d be happy if my time was less than 8:00 (my previous time) and I’d be ecstatic if I beat 5:00. Needless to say I’m in a very good mood today!

    Welcome back Katie! Like Andrea says the couple that CFs together stays together. It’s so fun to have a partner who really understands what it feels like to also be a CF’er. Its like being a part of an awesome team!

    All that was important was that I beat Brandi, she threw down the gauntlet before she left.
    Great tanacity Andrea to buck up and battle through. Great jobs all around with some well earned PRs. And all the new people are picking it up with great gusto. Yes, I said gusto and I’m proud of it.

  6. great job everyone..today. I wish I could of been there, but had other engagements, anyway I did a early morning 5k. I didn’t time it though and I ran 400m of it backwards. It was a good morning for a run.

  8. As far as the challenge goes I plan to rest Friday and watch my undisciplined nutritional intake during the week. Was good for about two months but the wheels fell off the bus the last couple of weeks. I hope to look at this challenge as a lifestyle change going forward. Looking forward to seeing everyone Saturday.
