A new CFSer!

Welcome Lincoln Jesse! He was born to Jimmy and Erin this past Sunday. He was 5 pounds 2 ounces. Like any good CrossFitter he likes to do things fast. He wrapped up him gestation in just 34 weeks. Erin is doing great. Due to his early birth he is spending a bit of extra time in the hospital. He is having a little trouble breathing so your prayers are appreciated. Overall though he is doing well. Congrats you guys. Can’t wait to meet him!

For time:
100 ft Walking lunge
50 Push-ups
50 Double-unders
25 Knees to elbows
5 Rope climb, 15 ft
50 Box jump, 24 inch box
25 Overhead squats, 65 pounds
25 L-pull-ups
50 Sit-ups

    L-pull-up to sit-ups = horrible! Fun but rough WOD.

    Sub knee push for push ups and red band pull ups for L ups. Did attempts at double unders but still not tying more then one to two together. Also, next time I forget long socks for rope climbs, I know to tape up my shin higher…taped too low today…owee!

  8. Contragulation Jimmy and Erin – he sure does look healthy.
    Shawn and I were the only ones that showed at 5:30 – it was fun. Shawn and Ryan are always so helpful and encouraging, I did it all, one way or another.

  9. Thanks everyone! We really appreciate all your support! Lincoln is really starting to come around. He’s less dependent on his respirator today and all his blood work is looking good. We still have a long ways to go, but its great to see the progress. Looking forward to getting out of Zombie mode and getting back to the gym. Thanks for your continued prayers!!

    Did ugly swinging l-pull ups every 20 secs. A for effort, D for result. Hopefully the effort pays off. Great job Ellen, I tried to catch up but got left behind on the pull ups!

  14. Went back in to do back & shoulder rehab work. Felt good, tomorrow is a rest day and felt restless so did bonus wod from a dew weeks ago I missed.

    Happy with the result, patience was the key, but took a little too long on the transitions. It’s a short wod so should’ve just gone. Last few reps of each OHS set was tough!

    Sub 15 min until L-Pull ups…then 8 min to finish and move on to Sit ups. Ugh. Rest day tomorrow…

  19. 27:19- OMGosh that was horrible! Achilles still bothering me so I did 50 air squats in place of du. Tried to sub c2b pull ups for Ls but they gave out quickly and I went to kipping. Didn’t realize women’s box was 20″ so I did 24″ and did 65# overhead squats for 16 reps until John said, “Honey, I think you are doing men’s weight.” quickly switched to 45 for the last 9 reps. My favorite, the rope climbs, were surprisingly difficult. Don’t mean to be Debbie Downer but that was so discouraging. 😦
